The Lovves are a band fronted by individual members Nathalie Janette & A.J. Rose. They began their songwriting journey together in the winter of 2020 when the two met at a bar in D.C. After meeting, the two quickly learned of each other’s love for songwriting and started sharing verses and lyrics, creating some of their early works like “As Long As You Want Me Around” and “If It Isn’t Love”. The two moved to Albany, GA in the spring of 2021 where they started performing later that year as a duo and officially formed The Lovves. In 2024 they moved to Virginia Beach, Virginia where they are currently based.
The Lovves’ music encompasses a wide range of pop rock and modern rock sounds ranging from ballad-style music, to acoustic singer-songwriter style, to a little bit of pop punk. Both Nathalie and A.J. have their own unique writing styles despite both being heavily influenced by 90s & 00s alternative artists. The result is an exceptionally unique blend of pop rock & alternative music with incredible harmonies and an upbeat feel. They have released two studio albums to date XII.V.MMXX and Vintage Gone Viral, not including the deluxe version; Vintage Gone Viral (Deluxe), and three EPs, Summer Lovve, Unbroken and I Am The Sun. They have also released three singles, Lonely, Thanks To That Night (Extended Mix) and Your Secret’s Mine Now.
