The Lovves are a two-piece band made up of individual members Nathalie Janette & A.J. Rose. They began their songwriting journey together in the winter of 2020 when the two met at a bar in D.C. After meeting, the two quickly learned of each other’s love for songwriting and started sharing verses and lyrics, creating some of their early works like “As Long As You Want Me Around” and “If It Isn’t Love”.
The two continued to write together despite being in different states during the COVID Pandemic quarantine era. Out of which, many of their favorite originals were born. Nathalie’s career eventually brought her back to Virginia where AJ was living, and the two moved to Albany, GA in the spring of 2021.
The Lovves’ music encompasses a wide range of pop rock sounds ranging from ballad-style music, to acoustic singer-songwriter style, to a little bit of pop punk. Both Nathalie and A.J. have their own unique writing styles despite both being heavily influenced by 90s & 00s alternative artists. The result is an exceptionally unique blend of pop rock & alternative music with incredible harmonies and an upbeat feel. They have released two studio albums to date XII.V.MMXX and Vintage Gone Viral, as well as a deluxe version Vintage Gone Viral (Deluxe), and an upbeat acoustic EP called Summer Lovve. Their latest release is a 6 song EP called Unbroken featuring their classic pop-rock sound.
